Nice place with great wi-fi, air conditioning, and friendly staff. I recall how they helped me with my room issue even at night. I recommend enjoying breakfast for a good start to your day. I'm coming back for Easter.

Spent 4 nights here with my daughter, had a perfectly pleasant stay overall. Enjoyed good food in the lobby. The location of the hotel was handy and ideal, walking distance to a central market and an old market. And near restaurants and bars, it was a bonus...

Charming Stay with Delicious Breakfast
The breakfast staff was warm, serving freshly made omelets and scrumptious homemade pastries. Proximity to Mercato Centrale for evening dining and nearby shops. A must-try bakery for authentic local treats!

Everything was really good, and it had good wi-fi. The beds were comfortable here, and the rooms were tastefully decorated and brand-new. The hotel had a central setting near to the railway station. It was perfectly pleasant 4 days, would stay here again.

Superb hospitality and location
I was welcomed like family by Giovanni and Marinella. The breakfast spread was good, especially the homemade pastries. Plus, being minutes away from the train station made it an ideal base for exploring Florence.
One small downside was a bit of a strange odor in the room's corners, which detracted slightly from the overall comfort. The friendly staff and amazing location made up for it.

The presentation of the hotel at the Booked.net is misleading. It occupies two half-floors of very poorly maintained house; the price was too high for such discomfort.

The room was OK but the elevator was very scary and the bathroom was very small and oldish. Breakfast was horrible - packed biscuits and croissants. It's a very old building but really close to the station.

The cleanliness of the balcony upon arrival was disappointing. It needed simple sweeping!!! A more thorough cleaning schedule for public spaces would enhance the overall experience!!! I also wished for more variety in the bathroom amenities!!!

A bit overpriced for what you get - though we did stay here during the peak season in the Summer.
Good location, nice and quiet street, rooms basic but clean.
Limited breakfast, no hot food, mostly pre-packaged cakes and biscuits - not enough fresh fruit - tables not cleaned following previous guests so you are surrounded by crumbs on table, chairs and floors. Bit overpriced compared to another hotel we stayed in Florence where we got more value for our money. Rooms on third floor which can be accessed only by old fashioned lift or stairs - lift not reliable so not suitable for elderly guests. Will not be staying here again.

We stayed in a triple room, very clean and spacious. The location was great, very near to the train station and restaurants.
Breakfast was served too late from 8am.We left the hotel at 7.30am during our 2 nights stay as we had to catch the train to Siena and Pisa, and Napoli, skipped the breakfast.Bathroom pump was noisy when water was used.

I would totally recommend this hotel. Superfriendly and helpful staff. The signor I spoke with didn't speak much English, but as I understand some Italian we were able to understand each other well. The best (softest) bed on our trip, which also included two three-star hotels. This hotel was a really good deal for the money. The breakfast was ok. The location was superb. We booked a room with a shared bathroom, but it was a nice surprise that there were a tiny shower cabinet and a sink in our room.
No complaints considering the price and the hotel being a two-star hotel.

The location is fantastic, just steps from Stazione Firenze Santa Maria Novella. I loved the family-run vibe at Hotel Joli. It felt cute. Breakfast cooked by the Nonna on the little balcony started my day perfectly. The beds were comfortable, with plenty of pillows and a soft blanket. Cleanliness stood out, both in the room and bathroom. Figuring out the metal shutters on the windows was tricky since I only knew basic Italian. It would help if staff checked in with guests about that. I appreciated the value for the price.
